Excellent shot. Am I correct in assuming this was taken with a film camera rather than digital? In my experience, underwater photography with a film camera is a "point, frame, pray, and click" endeavor. I think that my ratio of good pics to bad ones was 1 in 30 until I got a digital camera in an underwater housing where I could see what I got immediately.

The reflection of the crater bottom on the underside of the water's surface is amazing and the composition of the scene is excellent. The combination of visual textures between the bubbles, the coral, the clam water and the water surface makes this a very interesting and fun picture to look at.

BTW, the yellow, black and white fish in the center is a Moorish Idol and the blue on in the foreground is a Blue Tang in case you wanted to know.

Do you scuba dve or just snorkel?
